When to visit

Depending on the experiences you are trying to have in Belgium the best time to visit changes. In order to avoid the crowds, but still enjoy the nice weather, I would suggest visiting Belgium between May-June. Summers in Belgium are in general the busiest period. I would suggest you avoid the summer months, unless you want to experience the festival season. The Fall months are usually met with mild weather, low tourist numbers which makes it a good time to visit. However make sure to bring an umbrella as this is considered one of the rainiest periods of the year. If you are looking to travel during the Winter I would only suggest you do so if you want to explore Belgium’s nature & the Christmas Markets.
